JEOL to present at HKSMS Workshop 2024
JEOL is proudly invited to participate in 2024 HKSMS workshop
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionizing mass spectrometry studies, offering transformative insights into complex biological and chemical samples. By leveraging AI, researchers can process and interpret vast datasets more efficiently than ever before. This synergy enhances the identification and quantification of molecules, even in highly complex mixtures, by automating data analysis and reducing human error. AI algorithms, such as machine learning, improve the prediction of mass spectrometry outcomes, optimize experimental conditions, and enable the discovery of novel biomarkers. Consequently, AI's impact extends beyond academic research to pharmaceuticals, environmental monitoring, and forensic science, making mass spectrometry studies more accurate, fast, and cost-effective. In view of this, Hong Kong Society of Mass Spectrometry (HKSMS) would like to organize a workshop entitled “HKSMS Workshop 2024 – Artificial Intelligence with Mass Spectrometry”.Followed by an opening speech by Prof. Terence Poon, University of Macau, Jenny Jian, JEOL Application Engineer for Greater China, will deliver a talk entitled “Automated Structural Analysis for the Real Unknown Compounds by Combining an AI Technology and GC-TOF-MS System”.
